Urns & Keepsakes

Many people don’t realize the variety of additional products that can be purchased when a loved one is cremated.

concept casket liner

In some instance for cremation a rental casket is used that requires a liner which is typically cardboard based and lacks structural rigidity. In these concepts I talked with an automobile headboard manufacturer that uses molds from sustainable materials to make his products. Using that same concept I envisioned a single mold casket liner with greater structural stability and sustainability.

IKEA STYle concept Low cost, cam-lock casket

The low cost casket market is enormous. Not everyone can get a great quality casket at an affordable price. My concept was to marry those worlds through a cam-lock style casket with great design. Initial testing fully support dynamic and static loads but Batesville opted not to move forward because of the cannabalism of the higher price point caskets.

cremation online ordering system

The online ordering system for Batesville was non existent when I first entered into the business. The out of box package we received was not much better. After months of back and forth with multiple teams throughout Batesville and the overseas dev team we eventually got to a successful rollout.
